This antique shop is very labyrinth like I found out as I was able to thoroughly explore the store recently and there are so many items and oddities here that if you take your time and explore enough upstairs, downstairs and all the rooms involved you are bound to find something that you will want to purchase. Some of these oddities are really just for admiration and to look at like the sarcophagus that is encased in glass here. It's really something onto itself coming into this shop and getting lost in it. I imagine some of the empty rooms could be meant for tenants that sell different merchandise but it's so far inside this main place I'm not sure how much foot traffic they would receive which accounts for most of these rooms being vacant. Unusual and vast this antique shop is definitely worth checking out when strolling through the antique district of Tacoma.

There were a number of vacant stalls/suites as we wandered the maze and floors, and the prices were higher than I anticipated for used items, but overall this was a cool experience. I only ended up buying a $40 Bodan a-line skirt from the French-themed shop- owner was super nice and engaging! The 80's-themed clothing store was authentic! There are ramps and stairs, which I was able to navigate, but would be a challenge for someone with motor/balance issues. The book room was cool, but prices too high for used. My date bought 4 books. I'd come back again. Fun first date outing, perhaps?

A lot of the reviews here are quite old. This is essentially a maze of small thrift shops book stores and antique sellers. It is incredibly fun to go into and explore.

Cool place. Haven't been here in years but I popped in the other day. They still have the mummy sarcophagus but they don't have the human head anymore unfortunately. Lots of cool stuff to purchase and just look at and browse around. Lotta local little shops located in this building so go check them out

What an eclectic maze of a building to roam around in?! There is some history here as well as very unique, and/or enormous pieces to be seen or purchased. Varieties such as old Tacoma City Hall copper roof tiles, beautiful works of art stained glass, all the way down to vinyl record albums. It was an entertaining part of our afternoon Sunday October 7th. I will return whether to decorate my home or buy a gift. Go see for yourself. It will be worth your time and travel.

The collections here change and vary but it is always interesting and amazing. I wish more of the artist stalls were filled. The treasures here are truely cool. Fun place to spend some time together....or on your own. I go in about every 3 months or so as I live close by. Broadway is Tacoma's antique row. You can spend quite some time going into several single shops. Here, there are levels and levels of amazing finds.

I KNOW I reviewed this place years ago, but I guess it disappeared into the Yelp abyss along with some other missing yelps...oh well. S&S is among one of the funkiest/fun antique places I've been to. The building itself is a cool antique, full of mystery stairs and wooden ramps which used to support Model T's, I presume. It's helpful there are in-house cats which roam, as well. I hope this place doesn't change along with some of the other nearby once-nostalgic Tacoma places.
